I came across this atrocity while I was searching through a photography site that I go to regularly.
In the light of my maculate, selfish core, the first thought that came to my mind was, “what the
hell? She needs to lose a couple of pounds because she’s busting out of her outfit…”
(i’m hoping that all of you are slowly catching onto my sarcasm) Anyways, it hit me that the
gruesome discontentment of our society and its failure to encourage, love and accept drives us
to abdicate our God given right to laugh and feel good about our selves. Instead, we maim our
bodies and we saturate ourselves in futile, narcissistic endeavors to adhere to an empty facade
of “beauty.” The phrase “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” is pretty damn shameful. I don’t
give a rat’s ass about the beholder or the eyes of whom I don’t give a rat’s ass about. If beauty was
relative and if relatively we’ve all succumbed to this heartbreaking account, then I have to
disappoint by bringing all of you the news of how God’s creation has fallen short of
perfection and stumbled into a circular path of deceit and devastation. I am not merely speaking
of our failures and of our impotency to achieve perfection. This is bigger than us, everything is
bigger than us. In our shortsightedness we forget to see God and stare at a mirror in placid contentment.
I anticipate most of you to argue and delight in your stellar understanding of God, his
perfection and the fall of man and our imperfections. All true, yet… I find it hard to believe
a tale such as imperfection deriving from a perfect one. Surely anybody with even just a
forth of a brain can… no, will nod and agree with me that imperfection divides itself into more
imperfections. Therefore, considering ourselves imperfect seems… skewed. God, the perfect
being, made us perfectly beautiful. Some… beautifully perfect and saved, some beautifully
and perfectly damned. Our creator is beautiful and to put it plainly, beautiful things come
from things that are beautiful. I dont know too much of this perfection and beauty and all of
this smart stuff. I barely know how to spell tomorrowoowowoow. but I do know that if God
saw this picture he would be sad. Hell, I was sad.
